Coming from German heritage myself I preen with excitement and anticipation for the release of this film. The nostalgia and renegade fever exuding from the people who dared to create and conceive their dreams into a birthed reality when Fashion was forced from a bleak existence into a powerful form of expression and yearning for freedom. The destruction of the Berlin Wall brought the desired freedom, inspiring this film telling the stories and memories of those designers, stylists and models who had looked for a way out of repression through the flamboyant escapism of their own creations.
